Suse Linux
Installing from RPM
Download the three rpm files and install them using:
- rpm -ivh libvuurmuur-0.5.69.alpha2-1.i586.rpm
- rpm -ivh vuurmuur-0.5.69.alpha2-1.i586.rpm
- rpm -ivh vuurmuur_conf-0.5.69.alpha2-1.i586.rpm
Creating rpms
- Download the source installer and unpack the archive. In the map you will find a directory 'packages'. In it are spec files.
- Copy libvuurmuur.spec.suse to /usr/src/packages/SPECS. Do the same for the two other files.
- Now copy the three tar.gz files into /usr/src/packages/SOURCES/
- Go to /usr/src/packages/SPECS
- type: rpmbuild -bb libvuurmuur.spec.suse
- install the package: rpm -ivh ../RPMS/i586/libvuurmuur-0.5.69.alpha2-1.i586.rpm
- repeat the last two steps for vuurmuur and vuurmuur_conf.
