Description
I didn't get, is it somehow possible to use portforwarding in the way it was invented for? Still I cannot forward VNC connections to a PCs on my local LAN.
portfw service vnc from world.inet to some_local_pc.local.lan isn't working for me at all. I doubt I do anything wrong, because I doesn't have any problems with anything else.

Can you show the output for that rule from the 'vuurmuur -b' command?
Sure.
elias137@debian:~$ sudo vuurmuur -b | grep vnc # rule 10: Portfw service vnc from world.inet to larisa.local.lan options log,loglimit="20",comment="vnc1" # comment: 'vnc1'
Please, help me to solve this problem. I so much appreciate vuurmuur just the way it is, but port forwarding is indeed necessary thing...

Also, please post any errors & warnings from /var/log/vuurmuur/vuurmuur.log and /var/log/vuurmuur/error.log

OK. I have attached the whole file and vuurmuur.log file as well. The error.log file is empty, so there is nothing to show.

I tried telnetting into your ip at port 5900 and it worked from here. So the rule is correct.
From what ip are you trying?

Uh, it seems to me that now everything is working fine! Don't know what was happening yesterday, but it looks like everything is OK by now... I apologize for taking your time! I must close the ticket. Thank you for the support in anyway.
